
On February 2, 2023, Jonesboro-Hodge High School sent a delegation of students to attend the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Regional Leadership Conference at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. Nine students received a first place or superior rating in their competitive events and qualified to attend the state conference that will be held March 26-28, 2023 at the Cajundome & Convention Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Four students received a rating of first place in their competitive events: Honesty Poland (Marketing), Serenity Mallard (Marketing), Zion Gray (Cyber Security and Marketing), and Houston Cox (Introduction to Information technology).
Five students received a rating of superior in their competitive events: Ethan Bradford and Richard “Pierce” Ulloa (Business Management), Trinite’ Davis and T’ara Tyler (Cyber Security), and Mallorie Ashcraft (Introduction to Information Technology).
Fourteen students received a rating of excellent in their competitive events: Mallorie Ashcraft, Houston Cox, and Gabrielle Smith (Business Ethics); Jermya Bryant (Client Service); Jem’mya Bryant, Zaylen Harrel, and Makenzie Lowery (Entrepreneurship); Angela Jackson (Hospitality and Event Planning); Ma’riyah Jones (Journalism); Jaidon Vanzant, Ma’riyah Jones, and Skyliah Dill (Business Ethics); Richard “Pierce” Ulloa (Organizational Leadership); Serenity Mallard (Personal Finance); and Ariy’un Bradford (Sports & Entertainment Management).
