Four students who had the top grade point averages (GPA) after the last grading period at Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary School were honored at the Town of Jonesboro Board of Aldermen meeting held on Tuesday, March 14th at the Charles H Garrett Community Center.
Receiving plaques from Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church were Shan Stallings and Holly Coulter for their perfect 4.0 GPA’s and Jazzeria Ellis and Kristina Chen for their 3.75 GPA’s. Accompanying the students was J-HES Principal Danielle Copeland and two representatives from school partner United Way.
