The Jackson Parish School District reminds that Attendance Matters and asks your support in helping reach the 95% attendance goal for each school in the JPSD. Rhonda Lee, Instructional Supervisor for Child Welfare & Attendance, emphasizes that while attendance is critical to educational development all year, it especially important during the month of April as state standardized testing will be taking place.
“I want to stress to the parents and students that attendance is always essential but now is a an especially crucial and critical time. In the next few weeks, the students will be taking the (LEAP 2025) state standardized test, and we need all of our students to arrive on time for school and attend school daily. Please help us meet our district goal of 95% for April,” said Lee.
