Bernadean James has been appointed as a Village of Chatham Councilmember. The move was made by board members Paula Ackley, Toni Malone, Sue Proffer and
Mike Wilson following the agreement to accept former Councilmember Paula
Ackley’s resignation. Laverne Mixon was absent.

In other action taken the council approved the minutes of the March meeting, approved the payment of all bills and financial statements as presented. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be on May 9th.
