On Friday, April 14, 2023, Dr. Brumley, State Superintendent of the Louisiana Department of Education recognized Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School (JHMS) for being a 2022 “Comeback Campus” in the area of English, Language & Arts.
A “Comeback Campus” is one that has shown an increase in the percentage of students scoring Mastery and above on the statewide assessment and a decrease in the percentage of students scoring Unsatisfactory on the statewide assessment.
JHMS is the second school in the Jackson Parish School District to received “Comeback Campus” designation following Quitman High School being recognized earlier in the year.
