The Jackson Parish 4-H Chapter will hold their annual Shooting Sports Banquet on Friday, June 2nd, commemorating the tremendous showing turned in by local participants at regional and state competitions held earlier this year. The event will be held in the gymnasium of Gracepoint Christian Academy, which is located at 1490 South Hudson Avenue in Jonesboro on the campus of the First Assembly of God Church. 

Local 4-H’ers participate in training day in Alexandria

Four local 4-H members traveled to Alexandria this past week to take part in a training day in preparation for upcoming state competition. Representing Jackson Parish in their respective divisions were:
Jake Potts – Diesel Operations
Easton Hall – Zero Turn Mowers
Jana Potts – Child Development
Avery Dark – Poultry Judging
