Briley Peterson and Emma Kate McBride led Weston High School to a great girls basketball season this past school year. Now they are pacing their 18U LA Elite team to a sensational summer, including the championship of the recetnly held Insider Exposure Memorial Day Classic in Monroe.
With Peterson patrolling the paint to lead the All-Star squad with 53 points in the tournament and McBride “running the show” from her point guard position, LA Elite won all five games played during the extended holiday weekend. With the victories, LA Elite now stands at 15-4 on the season.

Lexy Robinson, a former Weston player, lived in Jackson parish most of her life..She moved to Monroe a few years ago…Lexy and Emma Kate will be going to play for South Arkansas this fall..
