The mission of Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District (JPASD) is to provide outstanding emergency and non-emergency medical transportation services to the residents of Jackson Parish. This is accomplished through the leadership of Director Aaron Johnson and the work of the tremendously dedicate and qualified professional staff. 

This week the JPASD recognizes Timothy Burns.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

For 40 years Tim Burns has made a career of selflessly caring for others and serving his community. Since 1983, whether serving as a Paramedic on an Ambulance, serving as a Supervisor or responding to hurricane deployments, Tim has always risen to the occasion. 

After 10 years of experience, Tim began working with the JPASD in 1993 where through his professionalism and experience he has affected countless patients lives. Just this past year alone, Tim made 216 patient contacts.

A devoted family man, Tim has two children, Kyle and Brooke and one granddaughter Iris. When not spending quality time with his family you can find him sitting outside soaking up the sun, reading on his Kindle or zipping around on his motorcycle. Occasionally, you will even spot him out on the lake trying to catch some fish or just relaxing with classic rock blasting from the speakers.  

The JPASD appreciates and extends a big “Thank You” to Tim for your 30 years of dedicated service.
