One week is left in the “Beat the Heat” Fan Drive. Sponsored by Legacy Hospice of Jonesboro and in collaboration with the Jonesboro Council on Aging, the program to support local senior citizens is trying to raise as many fans to help local senior citizens beat the heat of the summer months. 

Those wishing to participate are asked to donate new table-top, pedestal stand or boxed fans that will be provided to the elderly in need. Donations can be dropped off at the Legacy Hospice Office located at 726 Pershing Hwy. in Jonesboro.
