2D Sports has named Cooper Delaney as “Player of the Game” for his performance on July 2nd in competition at the Scout Games Championship that was played at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette.
Delaney won the award after leading his Five Star Gulfsouth Arceneaux 16U team to a 5-2 victory over SBG Sox National 25 with a two-hit shutout in 5.1 innings of work and also collecting a double at the plate. This marks the second time that Delaney, who preps at Weston High School, has Named as Player of the Game in the summer league.
