The Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District encourages all who are interested in taking the upcoming EMT training course that will begin on August 7th to register now as space is limited. To receive a registration form or if you have questions you are invited to call (318) 259 -2877, come by the JPASD administration office located at 115 Watts Street in Jonesboro, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday, or send email to: jacksonparishambulance@gmail.com.

The classes that will run through the first week of December will be taught by instructors James Horn and Jeff Carpenter, who bring over 50 years of combined experience. The class frequency will depend on the number of students who register and the needs of those participating and is scheduled to run from 6:00 – 10:00 pm each Monday and Thursday. Depending on the need, day classes may be scheduled.

Before the start of the training course, a couple of meet-and-greet sessions will be scheduled to allow students to meet the instructors and tour the facility. Dates and times will be announced soon.
