Westrock presents fans to Jackson Parish Council on Aging

In keeping with WestRock’s goal of being a part and giving back to the community, General Manager Eric Taylor presented the Jackson Parish Council on Aging forty fans with a pledge to give more soon.

“The community has been good to WestRock and we feel that is our duty to give back,” said Turner. “We are proud to be able to try and give some relief to our senior citizens in this time of unprecedented heat.”

Not only did ET, as he is affectionately known as, purchase the fans but traveled to Walmart to meet JPCOA Executive Director Linda Wyatt, loaded the fans in his truck and delivered them to the Robert Riddle Senior Center in Jonesboro.

Assisting in the effort was Roby Surber, an employee of WestRock for 56 years who now works primarily in community relations and WestRock consultant, James Bradford.

“We thank ET and all those associated with WestRock for coming to the aid of our seniors through the donation of the fans,” said Mrs. Wyatt.
