The Jackson Parish Police Jury (JPPJ) held a special called meeting on Tuesday, August 8th where the applicants for the vacant Accounts Payable Clerk position were interviewed. A total of nine people met with the seven person panel under executive session status in the Nathaniel Zeno, Jr. Meeting Room of the Jackson Parish Administrative Building, located at 160 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro. 

No action was taken either in executive session or once coming back. Expectations are that the person that will be hired to replace Tami Collingsworth, who resigned after several years of service, will be named at the regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the JPPS slated for Tuesday, August 15th.
