On August 23rd, close to 300 senior citizens of Jackson Parish gathered in the Family Life Center of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro for the Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office Senior Patrol annual banquet.

Sheriff Andy Brown opened the gala event by welcoming those in attendance and introducing the dedicated deputies of the program who work diligently to protect the elderly in Jackson Parish. Special guest speaker Kim Brunson, CEO of Mercy Medical, followed with an informative speech on vaccines, RSV, and other health concerns.
