Terry Gene Hall

Terry Gene Hall, 79, of Jonesboro, LA was called home Saturday, October 7, 2023.

Gene was born in Winnfield, LA on January 16, 1944 to Dessie Mae Buchans Raspberry and Charlie “Ted” Edward Hall. Gene married the love of his life, Betty Ann Masters Hall, on September 27, 1962. From this union they had 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and 22.5 great-grandchildren.

To know him was to love him. He never met a stranger. He loved God and his family.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Dessie Mae Raspberry and Charlie Hall, his wife, Betty Ann Masters Hall, granddaughter Amber Nicole Hall, Father-In-Law, Oliver “Bo” Masters, Brothers: Edward Wayne Hall, Sherman Hall, Carey Joe Hall, Travis “Caney” Hall.

He is survived by children: Gayla Smith & James Bradford, Terry E. Hall, Melinda Hall, Michael Chad & Wendy Hall, Angela Hall, Grandchildren: Brad Smith, Chris Oncale, April Brooks, Ashley & David Howard, Rebecka & Michael Sellers, Brandon & Reva Hall, Brittany & Warren Conway, 22.5 Great-Grandchildren, Mother-In-Law Dorothy Masters, Brother-In-Law Sonny & Betsy Masters, Johnny & Pam Masters, Sister-In-Law Patsy & Ed Flores, Sister-In-Law Ernestina Hall Bolls, a host of nieces & nephews, many friends.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, October 11 at McDonald Memorial Baptist Church with burial following in the McDonald Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro.  

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Smith, Brandon Hall, Johnny Masters, Sonny Masters, Dakota Walker, and Mickey Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Walker, Brendon Hall, James Bradford, and Warren Conway.
