Jonesboro-Hodge will play their second straight home game this Friday at Caldwell-Peacock Stadium as Mansfield comes to town for a district 3-2A battle. The similarity between the two schools is almost eerie. Game time is set for 7:00 pm.
Both are 0-1 in district play after getting blasted in the district opener with JHHS losing to Red River 32-8 and Mansfield falling to Many 42-13. For both squads the last victory came by a 40-0 score with Mansfield beating Magnolia SOE for their only win of the year and the Tigers dominating Lincoln Prep by the same.
Mansfield enters with a very deceiving 1-5 record having lost four non-district games to schools that have a combined 19-5 record. JHHS come in with a 2-4 record, having also lost to a pair of strong upper classified teams in 5-1 Class 5A West Ouachita and 6-0 Class 3A Bunkie.
