The upcoming winter won’t be so cold for many elementary aged children in the Jackson Parish School District. That is because they will be wearing brand new coats thanks to a Jonesboro State Bank Pledge 10 grant and the benevolence of the Ruston Rotary Club.

Coats for Kids is one of the many annual community related projects done by the Ruston Rotary Club. This year 175 elementary students in Jackson and Lincoln Parish will be presented with new coats. Some of the other include Dictionaries for 3rd grade students, Scholarships for students, and RYLA.
