Braylon Leonard, Kinsley Ponder and Rachel Bandy have been named the Student Athletes of the Week at Jonesboro-Hodge, Quitman, and Weston High School for the week of October 10-16. 
The honorees are chosen by select members of the faculty and staff from each school after best exemplifying what it means to be a true student-athlete through academic achievement and athletic accomplishment. Each recipient is given a commemorative T-Shirt by the Jackson Parish Hospital, who sponsors the award.

Braylon Leonard (12th Grade) – Jonesboro-Hodge High School football player
Kinsley Ponder (8th Grade) – Quitman Junior High softball player
Rachel Bandy (6th Grade) – Weston Junior High softball player
