The Village of Chatham Councilmembers held a special session on Monday, October 16th. After Mayor Gregory Harris called the meeting to order, council members Bernadean James, Toni Malone, Sue Proffer and Mike Wilson agreed to introduce Ordinance 2023-05. Council member Laverne Mixon was absent.
The Ordinance calls for a special session relating to the election or appointment of the chief of police for the Village of Chatham. The date set for a public hearing to discuss the proposed Ordinance was for Monday, October 30, 2023. A regular council meeting will follow at 6:00 pm.
