The Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Department and Sheriff Andy Brown would like to congratulate Quitman High School senior Skylar Hall for being named the recipient of the 2023 Louisiana Sheriff’s Association Scholarship (LSSP). 

The LSSP awards sixty-four scholarships for a maximum of $500.00 each academic year. The requirements for application are: applicant must be a permanent resident of Jackson Parish, scholarship award funds must be utilized in an institution of higher learning within the State of Louisiana and the student will be enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student. Families of Sheriff’s Office employees are eligible to apply. Only the immediate family of Sheriff is ineligible to apply.
