O’Ryon Atkins

Funeral services for O’Ryon Atkins, age 23 was held in the Boyer Bell Association Building in Jonesboro on Saturday, October 27th. Burial followed in the New Galilee Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Paradise Funeral Home

O’Ryon Atkins was born on April 29, 2000, to Latrice Atkins and Cornelius Boston. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lonnie Burks and Llewellyn Reed; great-grandmother, Ossie Mae Boston.

O’Ryon attended school in the Jackson Parish school system and was a 2019 graduate of Jonesboro-Hodge High School. In July 2020, O’Ryon met Allison Palmer and together a baby boy named Lennox was born.

O’Ryon known to many as “Pooh Pooh” was a big smiling teddy bear. In his spare time, he loved to spend time with his dogs, Brooklyn, and 448 Mozzy. But, most importantly, the time he spent with Lennox, KJ, Sailor and Kaden was indescribable.

O’Ryon leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Latrice Atkins, father, Cornelius Boston; his children Lennox Atkins, KJ and Sailor Wells, and Kaden Palmer; maternal grandmother, Mary Reed; paternal grandparents, Dorinda Boston and Anthony Turner; paternal great-grandmother, Ira Turner; brothers: Xavier Atkins, Zion Atkins, Dewayne Atkins, Marnelius Keys, Cornelius “Rah Rah” Boston, Braylon Boston, Corey Mixon, and Denim Boston; sisters: KeiAwjma Boston, Malaysia Atkins, Jaila Mills, Kemari Gibert, Kamarria Williams, De’Briya Boston D’Allyua Boston, Addison Boston, and Madison Boston; two nephews: Bryce Atkins and Messiah Keys; nieces: Nova Davis and a special niece, Khloe Atkins Barr. His girlfriend of three years, Allison Palmer; two uncles: Vernon Atkins (LaTasha) and Terrion Atkins (Nejuan); two aunts: LaKeitra Davis (Mario) and Charmaine Boston. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and classmates who loved him dearly.
