Student Athletes of the Week for December 17-23 announced

The selection of Student Athletes of the Week took on a distinct youth movement this past week. Being chosen to represent their respective schools for the week of December 17-23 were freshman, Zuwyneshya Johnson, at Jonesboro-Hodge High School, Brayden Smith, a sophomore at Quitman HIgh and Carly Jo Griffin who is in the 8th grade at Weston High School for the week of December 17-23.

The honorees are chosen by select members of the faculty and staff from each school after best exemplifying what it means to be a true student-athlete through academic achievement and athletic accomplishment. Each recipient is given a commemorative T-Shirt by the Jackson Parish Hospital, who sponsors the award.
