Jamie Odell Williams
June 6, 2006 – December 27, 2023

Jamie Odell Williams, age 17 of Jonesboro, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2023 as a result of a tragic accident. He was a student at Jonesboro-Hodge High School. Jamie enjoyed being with his teachers and classmates and he was a very courteous young man. He had a dry sense of humor and loved joking around with people. Jamie was an avid fisherman and enjoyed target shooting with his dad. He loved fast cars.

Jamie is survived by his parents Randy G. and Nancy “Sue” Williams; siblings, Bridget Lee (Adams) Bennett (and husband, Logan), Britney Ann Williams, and Jason Orion Williams; nephew, Noah Cruz “Peanut” Jones; nieces, Natalie Beth Bennett, Holli Kate Bennett and Maci Reece Bennett; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Adams; paternal grandmother, Annett Garrett (and husband, Michael); aunts, Becky Adams and Amanda Ann Adams; and a host of other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert J. Williams; maternal grandfather, Odell Adams, Sr.; uncle, Joe Adams; and aunt, Angela Williams “Angie” Smith.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at North Hodge Assembly of God from 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery near Weston, Louisiana under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.

There will be a reserved section for Jamie’s schoolmates and teachers.
