
The Jackson Parish Police Jury will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, February 5th. The session will take place at 5:30 pm in the Nathaniel Zeno Jr. Meeting Room of the Jackson Parish Administrative Building, located at 160 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro.
Headlining the agenda will be Police Jury members considering to act on revision of the Secretary/Treasurer job description per Personnel Committee recommendations and to advertise for the Secretary/Treasurer position for 30 days.

Additional agenda items include:
1. Consider and act on approving compensatory time for administrative personnel during vacancy of the Secretary/Treasurer position
2. Consider and act on creating a policy pertaining to Police Jury funded, full time employee(s) that works at the Health Unit to follow the state holiday schedule.
3. Consider and approve Solid Waste Superintendent attending Louisiana Solid Waste Association (LSWA) continued education training on March 13-15, 2024.
4. Consider and act on complying with assurances for the Uniform Relocation Assistance & Real Property Acquisition Act.
