The boys and girls of summer are getting ready to get it on in the spring as several of the local and area high schools start their LHSAA baseball and softball seasons this week. While scrimmages dominate the action for area baseball teams the opening of the softball regular season is slated to begin on Tuesday for both Quitman and Weston High Schools with home games followed by road trips later in the week.
