Town of Jonesboro Zoning Board holds meeting on February 8th

The Town of Jonesboro Zoning Board held a meeting on Thursday, February 8th in the conference room of City Hall, located at 128 Allen Avenue. After the meeting was called to order by Jonesboro Mayor J. “Spike” Harris, zoning board members approved the application for a mobile home to be placed at 425 3rd Street in Jonesboro. In additional action, the request for a billboard to be allowed at 104 Vinson Street was tabled until further information can be gathered. 

The Town of Jonesboro Zoning Board is a locally appointed governmental board responsible for recommending to the Board of Aldermen the boundaries of various zoning districts and appropriate regulations to be enforced within these districts.
