The 2024 State Livestock Show was held Feb. 10-17, 2024, at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, Louisiana with Jackson Parish 4-H members Lane Diffy and Jastyn Jordan bringing home top awards in their respective divisions. 

Lane was a winner multiple times, earning Grand and a Reserve Champion in Breed with his exhibition birds and placing 5th in Poultry Showmanship. Jastyn and her calf Athena also won a pair of first place blue ribbons coming in first in class and in LA breed.
