
Quitman High School shortstop, Madison Chaplin, has been chosen to play in the Louisiana Softball Coaches Association (LSCA) All-Star games that will take place May 10-11 in Tioga.
The Northwestern State University signee will be one of 18 senior players and one of two from north Louisiana to play for the East team. As the leadoff batter, Chaplin has helped Quitman compile a sterling 24-4 record and the #1 ranking in LHSAA Division IV among “non-select” schools.
For the season Chaplin is hitting .383 while leading QHS in triples (4), runs scored (43), walks (29) and stolen bases (20). She also has hit 7 doubles and 7 home runs.
