Laura Arnold of Quitman High School was recognized this past Monday by the Jackson Parish School Board for winning 1st place in the 5th District Congressional Art Contest.  

By winning the nation-wide high school arts competition, sponsored each year by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives, Arnold’s painting will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol along with winners from other congressional districts.
