The Jackson Parish School Board held a Special Called Meeting on July 8, 2024 in the Conference Room of the Jackson Parish School District Central Office, located at 315 Pershing Highway in Jonesboro.

Two agenda items involving Phase II of the renovation of the Weston High School Baseball and Softball fields were considered by board members Dennis Clary, Gerry Mims, Mary Saulters, Rick Barlow, Paulette Belton, Calvin Waggoner and Wade McBride.

After Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance the session opened with the low quote of $810,000.00 from RT & F Construction Company, LLC for the Weston High
School Baseball and Softball Fields Phase II to be paid from Weston District funds being accepted. 

This was followed by the agreement to accept a Change Order that reduced costs by $166,700.00 resulting in a total cost of project $643,400.00, still to be paid from Weston District funds.
