Chatham Village Council Meeting Minutes
July 9, 2024

The Village of Chatham met at its regular meeting on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the Chatham Village Hall. Present at the meeting was Mayor Gregory C. Harris, Council Members Mike Wilson, Laverne Mixon, Toni Malone and Sue Proffer; Councilmember Bernadean James was absent.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Harris. The pledge was led by
Councilmember Toni Malone and prayer was given by Mayor Harris.
A motion was made by Toni Malone and seconded by Laverne Mixon and approved by all to pay the monthly bills.
The council discussed the current fee schedule. The council decided that a new fee schedule should be presented at the next meeting with updated fees.
The council discussed the issue of buildings the need to be condemned. The council decided that more information needed to be obtained on the issue and to put the issue on the agenda of the August meeting.
Motion was made by Mike Wilson and seconded by Sue Proffer and approved by all to adjourn the meeting.
