Cali Deal has been recognized as one of the best high school softball players in the state for the past couple of years. This is verified by her being the reigning Class B MVP after leading Quitman High to the LHSAA Division V “non-select” state championship this past spring. 

That recognition has now gone nationwide. 

After leading her Texas Bombers Gold 16U to a third place finish at the prestigious and nationally acclaimed Alliance Fastpitch 16U Championship Series played in Westfield, IN, Deal was named to the All-Tourney team. 

Deal, who will be a senior at Quitman High during the 2024-25 school year, has committed to play softball collegiately at LSU.
