The Jackson Parish School Board will convene on Monday, August 5th for a Special Called session followed by their regularly scheduled monthly meeting. The Special Called meeting will begin at 10:15 am with the regular August meeting slated to begin at 11:00 am. Both meeting will be held in the Conference Room of the Jackson Parish School District Central Office, located at 315 Pershing Hwy. in Jonesboro. 

 The special session will comprise of school board members Wade McBride, Gerry Mims, Paulette Belton, Rick Barlow, Calvin Waggoner (President), Dennis Clary, and Mary Saulters reviewing the 2024-25 General Fund and Special Revenue budgets. 

The agenda for the regularly scheduled meeting is as follows.

4. Consider approving the minutes as presented from the Regular Scheduled meeting held on July 1, 2024.
5. Consider approving the minutes as presented from the Special Called Meeting held on July 8, 2024.
6. Consider approving the revised 2023-2024 General Fund and Special Revenue Budgets.
7. Consider approving the 2024-2025 General Fund and Special Revenue Budgets resolution attached herein.
8. Consider adopting items per the Committee Reports attached hereto.
