Tigers begin fall practice

Listen Up! JHHS coaching staff speaks to position group at fall practice

The time that has been eagerly awaited by the 36 young men that will be representing Jonesboro-Hodge High School in the upcoming 2024 LHSAA football season has finally arrived. 

The temperature was hot but the enthusiasm was even higher as the coaching staff and team took to the practice field at Caldwell-Peacock Stadium on the JHHS campus as fall practice began this past Monday. 

Practice will continue throughout the week with a scrimmage at D’Arbonne Woods, located in Farmerville, scheduled to be played AT 6:00 pm on August 23rd. The Tigers will then take part in the annual Bayou Jamb at 12:00 pm (noon) on Saturday, August 31st at Malone Stadium on the campus of the University of Louisiana-Monroe (ULM) where they will play Red River (Coushatta) at noon. On Friday, September 6th, JHHS will open the regular season by hosting arch rival Winnfield at Caldwell-Peacock Stadium.  

Buy Bayou Jamb tickets at JHHS! Remember to buy your Bayou Jamb tickets in advance at Jonesboro-Hodge High School. Buy purchasing your game tickets at the school, you directly help the Tiger football team as all proceeds from ticket sales bought at the school go solely to JHHS. Proceeds from tickets purchased at the gate are split among the 16 schools participating.
