The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced that on Monday, August 19th, the LA 813-3 bridge over the Little Dugdemona River in Jackson Parish will be closed for necessary bridge repairs.

DOTD said the bridge will be closed approximately 1.75 miles east of US 167 near Hodge.

The closure is expected to last two weeks and should be open on Friday, Aug. 30, weather permitting and without any delays.

Officials said all vehicles must detour using LA 147, US 167, and LA 813-3.
