The Village of Chatham held their regularly scheduled monthly council meeting on Tuesday, August 13th, in the conference room of the Village Hall located at 1709 Oak Street. Along with Mayor Gregory Harris, council members present were Bernadean James, Toni Malone, Laverne Mixon, Sue Proffer and Mike Wilson.

After the perfunctory duties of approving minutes from the June and July meetings and payment of monthly bills, the panel proceeded to adopt two Resolutions and introduce a new Ordinance 

ADOPTED

Resolution 2024-06 – amending Resolution 2017-14 and establishing a fee schedule.
Resolution 2024-07 – setting the Public Facilities Management regulations for the Louisiana Community Development Block Grant for FY 2022.

INTRODUCED

Ordinance 2024-04 – repealing zoning Ordinance #12-90 and establishing a new zoning ordinance. A Public Hearing will be held September 10, 2024, at 5:30 pm at the Village Hall, located at 1709 Oak St.

Following the financial statements being accepted the meeting was adjourned.
