The approval of three Resolutions that focus on upcoming town improvements was the main agenda items the Board of Aldermen for the Town of Jonesboro adopted at their regularly scheduled monthly meeting held on Tuesday.

After minutes and financials from September were approved the board of Devin Flowers, Robert Hunter, Robbie Siadek, Nia Evans-Johnson and James Ginn then moved on the following.

Resolution 2024-008 – Approval of Capital Outlay Funding
Resolution 2024-009 – Approval of 2024 Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire
Resolution 2024-10 – Approval of Community Development Block Grant Mitigation

The session ended with the Jonesboro Police Department receiving permission to move a part-time dispatcher to full-time and reports from the heads of the Police, Compliance, Public Works, and Fire Departments, as well as, from Magistrate Yumeaka Washington.
