The Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District (JPASD) is pleased to announce that their Employee Spotlight shines on Paramedic, Alan Chandler, for the month of October. 

A dedicated member of the JPASD family since 2017, Alan began his remarkable career in 1992, climbing the ranks from First Responder to Paramedic. Bringing a wealth of experience to every aspect of disaster relief and emergency medical services Alan served as Director of EMS for LaSalle Ambulance Service in Olla, LA.

This past year alone Alan has responded to 394 calls for help, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to our community. 

Alan shares a fulfilling life with his wife of 31 years, Helen, and their son, Jonathan, who has followed in his fathers footsteps into the EMS field. In his spare time, Alan enjoys family outings with their two dogs and the occasional saltwater fishing trip. 

His infectious smile and readiness to assist those in need make him an invaluable asset to our team at Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District.
