The “Student / Athlete of the Week” Award for the week of October 6-12 has been selected. The award, which is sponsored by the Jackson Parish Hospital, recognizes an outstanding student/athlete chosen by select members of the faculty and staff from each of the three Jackson Parish School District high schools.
The honorees are chosen for best exemplifying what it means to be a true student-athlete through academic achievement and athletic accomplishment. Each recipient is recognized by the Jackson Parish Hospital through social media and receives a special commemorative shirt.
Earning accolades this week are Megan Kelly, a junior on the Quitman High School Cross Country Team, Dakota Knox of Jonesboro-Hodge, who is junior on the football team and 7th grade Weston Junior High baseball player, Eli Henderson.
Join Jackson Parish Hospital as we congratulate and applaud these athletes for their dedication and achievements!
