Jonesboro-Hodge High School completed their 2024 football season this past Friday ending the high school career of the four senior’s on the team. While all four were key contributors, one in particular, Christian McGuire, leaves a legacy that drew the attention of area media. 

Recently, the son of Tyrhonda and Cortez McGuire was honored with the the KTBS – Channel 3 Friday Football Fever Bob Griffin’s Player of the Week. The award, named after iconic northwest Louisiana sports broadcaster Bob Griffin, is given weekly during the prep football season to an outstanding student / athlete who exhibits not only exceptional abilities on the field but also strong characteristics off it.
