It’s Official! Bryce Zehr of Weston High School will continue his baseball career at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, LA. The official act took place on Tuesday, December 3rd when in front of family, friends, LCU coaches, WHS teammates, coaches and administration, Zehr signed the dotted line on his scholarship papers. 

The multi-talented athlete, who also is the leading scorer on the WHS basketball team, signs with LCU after a stellar junior season, where he compiled a .352 batting average and a .462 on base percentage after also reaching base 18 times on errors, 23 walks and 5 times getting hit by a pitch. He also had 19 RBI, 49 runs scored and 13 stolen bases while turning in a perfect 100% fielding percentage by forcing 50 put outs and having three assists in 53 total chances.
