Jackson Parish Branch#6309 will hold their annual commemoration program honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 20th at the Boyer-Bell Memorial Building located at 763 Beech Springs Hwy in Jonesboro. The Guest Speaker will be Zachary O. Simmons, lead attorney of Pro Bono Programs for Southeast Louisiana Legal Service.

The event is scheduled to take place at 1:15 pm or immediately following the scheduled 12:00 pm (noon) parade that is slated to begin at at the Signature Lounge Parking Lot at 705 Leon Drive. Grand Marshal of the Parade is Mr. L.E. Joe, retired educator and former JPB Executive Board member.
