JHHS has five earn 2024-25 Girls Basketball 1-1A All-District Honors

District 1-1A, which proved to be one of the strongest district in LHSAA competition in 2024-25 has announced the girls basketball All-District Team with five players from Jonesboro-Hodge High School earning honors. 

JHHS representatives being selected as second team All-District members were Tyya Davis, Jalenya Jackson and Morgan McGee with Sanaa Tatum and Angel Moss earning Honorable Mention designation. 

District 1-1A Champion and Division IV state runner-up among “select” schools, Cedar Creek High School out of Ruston, swept top honors with Avery Ryan being named Most Valuable Player and Katie Hall being chosen as Coach of the Year. Second place finisher in District 1-1A and state runner-up in Division IV among “non-select” schools, Arcadia had three players chosen to the first team while Plain Dealing and Ringgold had one player each selected.
