The Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District is proud to shine the “Employee Spotlight” for April on office manager, Amber Swanner. A cornerstone of the JPASD for the past 9 years, Amber plays a critical role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. 

Not only bringing a wealth of knowledge and professionalism, Amber is also as a Certified First Responder, Ambulance Coder, and the JPASD Privacy and Compliance Officer while also holding a wide range of additional certifications. 

Outside of work, Amber’s life is just as full and rewarding through her marriage of 9 years to husband, Joseph, and care of their energetic 8-year-old son, Ollie. Both are members of Jonesboro Assembly of God, where they serve as Children Pastor’s Pastors, helping guide and inspire the next generation. Amber also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, is an avid baseball fan, and loves to cheer for her favorite team whenever given the chance.
