
A large contingent of prep golfers from across northeast Louisiana traveled to Black Bear Golf Course in Delhi, LA on April 11th for the final regular-season tournament of the Front9 Golf Tour.
Ten schools from LHSAA Divisions II-IV competed, with defending Division IV state champion Quitman High School finishing in 5th place overall. Ouachita Christian School from Monroe took the team title followed by Cedar Creek of Ruston and Sterlington High School.
In individual competition, Noah Leach paced the Wolverines with a 10th place finish with Payton Nomey next at #28 among the 85 competitors. Grant Williams and Kace West also finished in the top-50 with 41st and 43rd placements while Hudson Pullig came in 58th, Hayden Davis at #66 and Lancaster Cooper checking in at #72 overall.
The Wolverines will next be in action on April 22nd at Frenchman’s Bend in Sterlington, where they along with 16 other schools from north Louisiana will compete for the 2025 Division IV, District 1 Championship.
