Jackson Parish High Schools Student Athletes of the Week Recognized

The honorees for the “Student / Athlete of the Week” Award for the week of April 27 – May 3 have been selected. The award, which is sponsored by the Jackson Parish Hospital, recognizes an outstanding student/athlete chosen from Jonesboro-Hodge, Quitman, and Weston High Schools, who are chosen by select members of the faculty and staff of each institution. 

The selectees are chosen for best exemplifying what it means to be a true student-athlete through academic achievement and athletic accomplishment. Each recipient is recognized by the Jackson Parish Hospital through social media and receives a special commemorative shirt.

Earning accolades this week are Kaleigh Webb of the Quitman High School track team, Drew Browning, who is on the Weston High School baseball team and Kadarrien Thompson, a member of the Jonesboro-Hodge High School track team.
