The Jackson Parish Chamber of Commerce (JPCC) announces that the Yumeaka Washington Law Firm has been selected as the Business of the Month for August. With friends, family, employees, and a host of JPCC members on hand, the presentation was made at her Washington Law Firm location of 227 Polk Avenue in Jonesboro on Thursday, August 7th. 

Washington, who also serves as the Assistant District Attorney for the 2nd Judicial District, has been a stalwart in the local legal system since beginning to practice law in 1994. Her wealth of experience also includes having served as Judge for the Town of Jonesboro City Court and being a candidate for District B Judge serving Jackson, Bienville, and Claiborne Parishes.
