It was a day of celebration for long-time Jackson Parish Clerk of Court employee Rachel Shively as she was appointed as Chief Deputy for the Clerk’s Office on Monday, August 11th. 

Serving in the Clerk’s office since June of 2016, Shvely received the official oath of office from Jackson Parish Clerk of Court Laura Culpepper. Rachel lives in Quitman with her husband, Joe. They have three children, Zachary, Betsy and Owen, and two grandchildren, Andrew and Emma.
