Over the past two years (2023-25), Quitman High School was one of only three members of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) to win five state championships and the only “small school” (Class AA – C) to claim that distinction.
Making the tremendous success even more impressive was the fact that QHS is the only school of the 340 institutions of learning in the LHSAA to have achieved such lofty standards and done so without committing a single violation.
The LHSAA verified this recently by naming Quitman High a “School of Distinction” for not committing any violations during the 2024-25 school year.
Congratulations to the administration and coaches of Quitman High School for not only having one of the most successful athletic programs in the state of Louisiana but also proving that you can win without cheating.
