Louisiana Tech University head softball coach Josh Taylor knows that there is a tremendous amount of talent in north Louisiana, including a plethora of athletes at back-to-back Class B state champion Quitman High School.
That is why he was overjoyed that four members from the Lady Wovlerines squad agreed to partake of the Louisiana Tech Softball Prospects Camp that was held on Saturday, August 23rd.
Joining QHS senior, Maggie Guyotte, who has already committed to Louisiana Tech, were three “super sophomores” in Brenna Lamkin, Hallie Kate Pullig, and Briley Bowers, all of whom were instrumental in helping Quitman earn their second straight state title.
The Prospect Camp included sessions of individual instruction on defense and offense, as well as in-depth pitcher/catcher instruction and live game play.
